Ro and I were at 71st on Saturday, and we were blown away by the beauty of the library architecture! Of course we love the house and its overall design, but occasionally we have a mutual epiphany and realize the brilliance of excellent design work. The site management and interior design have presented an on-the-job learning experience for us, one we could never have managed without the combined efforts of your superior design team. We have always appreciated your vision and the good architecture you have brought to Virginia Beach. We also now appreciate the well-coordinated team efforts that your office provides. Carol and Kristen have completed details for us when we were at wits’ end for a solution.
At the end of the day, though, we would have been completely lost without the steady hand of Jim Russell at the tiller of this project. His ability to see what we wanted, and to accomplish it went far beyond anything called “consulting”. He has held the course steady and maintained the design integrity when we were overwhelmed with choices. The elements of his interior design have given us a real Cox Kliewer house! Further, there could not have been a more pleasant person to work with. We have recommended him highly to many friends.
The project is nearing an end and its interesting to think back on the day you came for an interview and were the only architect to suggest starting over. Look what we have now!
